About Us

The Native Woodland Trust is dedicated to the preservation of Ireland's remaining ancient woodlands. We are also committed to the restoration of Ireland's original climax ecosystem, through the re-creation of woodlands, using only native seed.

We have carefully documented our aims and have also given great consideration to a set of principles to which we will adhere in order to achieve those aims. These have all been included in the legal documents governing the organisation.

Employment

Although we are always in need of volunteers, we are not currently in a position to provide meaningful employment to anyone. Volunteers are always welcome, whether you have any particular expertise or not.
